Trauma Holder
This term is a holder subtype.
A trauma holder is simply any headmate that holds significant trauma, often to keep others within the system safe from that knowledge. These headmates can also be referred to as "holding trauma".
The kind or perceived severity of trauma is diverse amongst trauma holders, and can manifest as being loyal to abusers, unprompted anger, and anxiety.
Types of trauma holders include:
• Emotional Trauma Holder, trauma associated with emotional abuse.
• Medical Trauma Holder, trauma associated with the medical history (the little subtype would be called a Catkid)
• Familial Trauma Holder, trauma associated with rough family dynamics like absent parents etc (the little subtype would be called a Doekid)
• Religious Trauma Holder, trauma associated with religious themes such as church and Christianity etc (the little subtype would be called a Lambkid)
• Near-Death Trauma Holder, trauma associated with near-death experiences ranging from accidents to suicide attempts (the alternate name would be called a Mortician)
• Neglect Trauma Holder, trauma associated with neglect typically from parents be it physically to emotionally (the little subtype would be called a Bunnykid)
• Physical Trauma Holder, trauma associated with physical abuse
• Sexual Trauma Holder, trauma associated with sexual traumas such as assault or rape (the little subtype would be called a Swankid)(these alters may also be Sexual Alters)
